Reality television, this generation runs on it. Reality TV. Is something that many of us can’t help but watch. I can’t’ lie and say I don’t watch reality TV. I don’t like all the shows that come out because some of them are just killing my brain cells. I think the reality TV shows such as the real world just give our generation bad ideas on how to live our life. Partying and staying up all night with friends doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s the definition of life. Some people look up to television and the actor’s especially little kids.

                I think that reality television can be a good thing because it keeps us entertained but it can also rot our minds. I personally like reality TV because it keeps me entertained and most shows are funny and I get a kick out of it. I could say I have a guilty pleasure towards reality TV because I know most people may not like it because they may say it is a waste of time but in reality it keeps us going. I see it as a way of keeping society entertained even though some disagree. The people that say they don’t watch it are probably the ones who watch it the most.

                Society can have crazy ways of keeping us entertained such as reality TV but I think the people who actually appear on reality of TV are really brave. I think they are brave because they let cameras go everywhere they go which means they give up their privacy. I think that privacy is a key component to everyone’s life. Reality TV should really be viewed a different way and more people should give it a chance, because not all reality TV shows are dumb some of them can be pretty good.

saw community colleges as a lower level education because I always thought that they were just for people who didn’t want to go to a university. In reality community colleges are where we should start . My dad started off at the community college level and he then transferred to the University of California Santa Barbara to pursue a career in business administration. He made me open my eyes on how good a community college education can be.

                Many people see community colleges as a lower level education because most people decide to go to a four year university right after high school graduation. People that Chose University over community college can struggle because lack of financial aid. Not a lot of people get financial aid and I am lucky to say that I do receive financial aid which makes it easier to focus on school rather than the bills I have to pay.

                I would definitely thank my dad for making me change my opinion on community colleges. Community colleges are a great way to start off our higher education especially since it’s cheaper and it’s closer to home than most universities. I like going to community college because it is close to home rather than a university because I would miss my family way too much and I’m really close to them. I would miss my family and my friends that are close by. Community colleges are really the way to go I would recommend most people to attend community college rather than universities in a heart beat.

                My best friend chose to attend a University right after high school. She thinks it is expensive and its too far away from her family and friends. If she would’ve stayed close to home she wouldn’t be as home sick as she is right now.
